VGT Section 3

The Section 3 bundle of Visual Guide Tones series, including all materials from parts 8-11. 

Throughout this method, every concept has been presented with the emphasis on Improvisation. In these last 4 parts, Dana brings a synergistic vision that makes Visual Guide Tones a truly exceptional method. The main focus being 'Altered harmony' which is completely examined and done so, in multiple ways, providing students special insights to Chord Families #5 ( mi11b5), #6 (13#11) and #8 (b5,#5, b9,#9) all using Melodic Minor / Lydian Dominant.

Section 3 provides 'post grad' level concepts not found anywhere including Dominant Pentatonic. Frames for Lydian Dominant. 'Six note' Pentatonic hybrids such as Blues and all others derived from the chromatic scale. 8 note dominant and diminished. Unique approaches in playing "Thru and Over" changes. Applying VGT to all Chord progressions, and much, much more.

PDF's and specially produced MP3 Play-alongs are included. Section 3 play-alongs in different styles, including pure orchestral, have been created in order to allow students to explore improvising in unique musical situations. Really fun and exciting backgrounds for developing a comfort zone with momentary key changes. as well as rhythmic and melodic phrasing.
